Optimizing PVC Thermal Stability Using Industrial Grade Hydrotalcite adsorbent A Comparative Study with Traditional Stabilizers
Product Name: Hydrotalcite adsorbent
CAS No.: 12304-65-3
Molecular Formula: [M(1-X)2+Mx3+y(OH)]x+(An-)x/n·mH2O
Product Introduction:
Our industrial grade Hydrotalcite adsorbent is a revolutionary solution for enhancing PVC thermal stability. In contrast to traditional stabilizers, it offers superior performance. Through a meticulous comparative study, it's proven to delay PVC degradation during processing more effectively. With Hydrotalcite adsorbent , PVC products can withstand higher temperatures without significant quality loss. Ideal for PVC manufacturers aiming to boost product quality and reduce production issues related to thermal instability.

Experimental methods for evaluating the performance of magnesium aluminum carbonate in PVC thermal stability:
1.Thermal aging test: Place PVC samples containing magnesium aluminum carbonate in a thermal aging chamber at a certain temperature, take them out after different times, observe the appearance changes of the samples, such as color changes, whether cracks appear, etc., and also test their mechanical properties, such as tensile strength, elongation at break, etc., to evaluate the effect of magnesium aluminum carbonate on the thermal stability of PVC.
2.Thermogravimetric analysis (TGA): Using a thermogravimetric analyzer, measure the mass change of PVC samples during heating under programmed heating conditions. By analyzing the thermogravimetric curve, parameters such as initial decomposition temperature and maximum decomposition rate temperature were obtained to understand the effect of magnesium aluminum carbonate on improving the thermal stability of PVC.
