Case: Rooftop Photovoltaic System in an Industrial Park

An industrial park installed a rooftop photovoltaic system to meet part of its energy needs. The rooftop environment is affected by industrial emissions, including various acidic and alkaline gases, as well as particulate matter.
The aluminum silicate adsorbent in the EVA photovoltaic film of this system plays a dual - role. Firstly, it adsorbs the acidic and alkaline gases in the industrial emissions, such as sulfur dioxide and ammonia. These gases can react with the EVA film and damage its structure, but the adsorbent neutralizes them, protecting the film. Secondly, it captures the particulate matter, preventing it from adhering to the surface of the film and reducing light transmittance.
